Oh yes english is my fourth language. Portuguese is my mother language and for many years in Brazil I studied spanish, french, arab, but only something in english. Today I’m studying english for me is so necessary. In my country languages don’t be taught as it is must and then cause bad results for the population. I like learn new languages and also meet new people, new cultures. You really know about some people if you learn about their literature and language.

Last weekend my husband and I bought the game Wii. Many of our friends already had discovered the addiction power of these games by Nintendo. I never played Wii before.The main factor is the interactivity and freedom of Wii Remote. The games most interesting for me: Wii Sports and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games . Because you can execute in real time the movements exactly the game chosen. For me it’s a revolution because I came of one generation that played all the creations of Atari , Nintendo and Play Station.. This was many years ago, so I can say: I saw everything.

Now each day, my husband and I spend one hour per day in these games…

The addiction is starting

The site “zazzle.com” put on for sale these T-shirts with the slogan of the famous site Emperor’s Club V.I.P These T-shirts is for the less fortunate people who dream of one day to be number #10 or who knows the # 1!!

Yesterday my husband and I decided walking during night in NY. The night was incredible, 52 F perfect time to went walk after a long day. Soon later we also wanted for a dinner, in some good restaurant. We looked for all the restaurants in the village, Soho, Chelsea, etc. and we not found something free. All the restaurants were full last night! My conclusion : All the people in the same time in New York decided together go to the all restaurants in New York! When we finished for walk almost 2 miles, my husband and I found one good pizzeria called “L’asso” in the end of Soho. Finally we had a good time.

I saw In NYTimes today:

-Answer: We are very far for speaking of peace. I think.

So, if you participated in peace organizations and defended ideas about peace (and you still defend) like me, you must already know: Unfortunaly the guns still continue more powerful than the words of the men. Unfortunately .

Brazil:

The President Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva will give to the city Of Rio de Janeiro almost 1 billion dollars to the resources of the “Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento“(Acceleration of growth Program) PAC for the reurbanization of the city.

The idea was created by Minister Chief of Staff Dilma Roussef, that it will go create many jobs in construction in the *favelas of Rio.This is one big project that has as vision to give end to the crime. This project will go all over locations when is considerate without sanitation and accessibility for consequence dangerous for the people who live in those places.

Main Places for this project: Complexes by Favelas do Alemão, Manguinhos and Rocinha , about 365 thousand of people who live in those places.The PAC Favelas, will go a also Morro do Preventório in other city of state of Rio de Janeiro Niterói, in Grande Rio, Complexo do Cantagalo, Pavão and Pavãozinho.In the future Planes for enlarge this constructions in others Complexes for Jacarezinho and da Penha (famous places) . The deadline of constructions is in 2010.

Too much Information! We are taken by information for all the sides, TV, books, newspapers, Internet…Much information that we lose our essence. I mean that knowledge is very important in ours lives, but we are living now a new experience that never we had live before in the humanity . We need a focus it is really important for us, if don’t we will be to drown in numbers, images and words.

Speaking about politics:

I don’t believe more in the politicians.

Because in Brazil as in America the games they are the same ones. The difference is that in Brazil the politicians change of position politics, parties. I hate corruption! Unfortunately it is in all the places of the world..
